But while Yahoo! falls apart, once-struggling Apple offers a case study in focus--and it's a focus that is slowly shifting to the Internet. The iPhone has transformed the humble phone into a Web-connected multimedia marvel. Apple's latest effort, dubbed MobileMe, will use the Internet to shuttle media, contacts, and calendar information.
