A posting on the official Dev Team website states that “The Dev Team would like to annoucne the immediate withdrawl from the iPhone development arena.”

“It was anticipated that the DevTeam would be releasing a tool for the iPhone sometime this week… Criticism of the validity of the tool has been reported to the press and actions were taken to prevent the release… On Monday the DevTeam was approached by a party to sell of the intellectual property and related applictions. They will not be rlsd.
